Can You See a Tiger in One Day?
This is probably one of the most common questions I hear.
The honest answer is:
You might — but nobody can guarantee it.
Wild animals don’t follow our schedules.
A tiger may be nearby without being visible.
Weather, season, vegetation, prey movement and many other factors can influence wildlife encounters.
As a safari guide, my job is not to promise you a tiger.
My job is to use my knowledge of the area, animal behavior, tracks, signs and current conditions to give you the best possible opportunity for an encounter.
And if you don’t see a tiger?
You can still have an incredible Chitwan safari.
Sometimes the most memorable encounter is a rhino appearing unexpectedly beside the Jeep.
Sometimes it’s a crocodile lying quietly beside the river.
Sometimes it’s a bird you have never seen before.
And sometimes it’s simply walking through the forest and realizing how much life exists around you.
