On the day we did a canoe ride and then a jeep safari and saw lots and lots of Rhino, elephant etc! Our guide had very good knowledge and shared lots of info throughout the trip which was great! We highly recommend Chitwan Jungle Guides !!

Next time we will we do a... read more longer trip to guarantee a tiger sighting, however we saw just about every other type of animal such as 7 one horned rhinos, both mugger and gharial crocs, wild guar, wild elephants, king cobra, peacocks, bats, cervits, etc. Our guides Ram and Nabin were highly competent and while no jungle guide can ever guarantee your safety, I did feel in good hands with these guides. Food provided was good, and the night spent in the jungle tower was an awesome experience. Would highly recommend this company.

  One of the best and most unique experiences of my life - Me and a friend decided on the option where we hiked in the jungle for the day. The day starts with a canoe ride, where they point out and explain any bird species you may see. They know every every mammal and bird by the sounds they make, as well as all the native plants. We saw lots of rhinos, elephants, crocodiles, wild gaurs, several species of birds, and even a king cobra. While they cannot guarantee any sightings, they knew all the spots to take us and where we'd have a good chance of viewing wildlife. After the hike, we spent the night in a tower in the jungle, which adds to the authentic experience. You spend the night outside watching for signs of wildlife and listening to all the sounds of nature.
The guides are constantly making sure you are hydrated and well fed. They also know what to do if any animal does get too close to you, so you always feel safe.
I highly recommend going to Chitwan and getting a tour with this company, it will be an unforgettable experience!

  3 full days tour - We went on a 3 full days tour and had such a great time! A completely unique experience where you are submerged into the jungle. We were so lucky to... read more see a tiger on our second day after waiting at the same spot for two hours - a moment which we will never forget. Besides seeing a tiger, we saw lots of other animals including rhinos, deers, monkeys and so much more. It was very evident that our two guides knew the jungle in and out, and they would always spot various things which we would have never seen without them. Going on foot instead of taking a jeep, makes all the difference and determines the experience - a jeep tour gives you a small insight into the jungle whereas a walking tour makes you a part of the jungle. The only negative comment we have is that at the homestay where we stayed for two nights, there were some dogs which were very skinny and hungry - it was very clear that they were not fed on regular basis. I am aware that this is not Crazy tigers responsibility, but as a professional company they should wisely choose the homestays to use or inform the homestays to take proper care of their animals. A company should always consider things as this, as it shows the values of the company. I sincerely hope that they will act upon this.

We were able to see a variety of wildlife, including rhinos, a lot of deer, elephants, monkeys, birds and even two different kinds of crocodiles.

We chose the 4nights/5days option. Another guide Rajendra created the perfect itinerary for these 5 days. The highlight of the trip was the night in the jungle. We slept in a tower in the middle of the jungle, falling asleep and waking up with the sounds of nature was wonderful. I even heard two rhinos fighting during the night on the other side of the river. And I’ve seen the best sunset of my life!

The jeep safari was great, we’ve seen a lot of animals during that day. It was really cool also the canoeing.
Narayan explained us a lot of interesting things and now I even know how to recognise animals from their footprints and from their poop 😬

Unfortunately we haven’t seen tigers or bears but we had been told from the beginning that it was not the right season but that they would do what they could. And so it was. The last day we did the jungle walk and we spent 3hours waiting on the tiger spotting place but nothing. They are free animals, there was no guarantee. Next time 🤞🏼😉
Apart from that it was an unforgettable experience. Narayan is really the best guide ever. You should ask for him for your tour!

We are glad our final choice was The Chitwan Jungle Guides.
They’ve been extremely nice and professional since the beginning.
We opted for a 5 days 4 nights experience, with a private guide and private excursions.
Our guide was Narayan, a great guide and amazing person who has been working in Chitwan for more than 20 years. He knows all the birds and can recognise them by their sound. We spotted a lot of crocs, deers, rhinos, few elephants and traces of bears and tiger; unfortunately we weren’t able to see those last two, but we’ve been told in advance that December was the best season to spot those kind of animals.
We had one night booked in a tower in the jungle, that was epic epic.
Overall it’s been an extremely great tour, we lived properly a safari experience with experts, we’ve been safe and instructed to proper behaviour in a wild environment. That was great to see a huge respect for the nature and the wildlife from the guides.
We highly suggest to book with this company, and if you can ask for Narayan as your guide you’ll be very satisfied.
